The site is located on School Lane, a single track gravelled lane leading from Main Street. Situated in the attractive rural village of Aberford which is approximately 12.5 miles to the east of Leeds city Centre and 18 miles to the southwest of York. Aberford it is well located to the road network being approximately 1 mile from the main A1, A64 and the A1/M1 motorways link road.
